Council Resolution CO 26/013 - Assignment of Lease - Port Lincoln Netball Association Inc
That Council:
- Endorse, in accordance with sections 202 and 203 of the Local Government Act 1999, the commencement of statutory public consultation in relation to the proposed lease of a portion of Community Land situated at the Ravendale Sporting Precinct, Port Lincoln, being the land comprised in Certificate of Title CT 5709/805, between the City of Port Lincoln and the Port Lincoln Netball Association Inc., for an initial term of ten (10) years with a further ten (10) year renewal option, commencing 1 March 2026, at a lease fee of $1.00 per annum (plus GST), if demanded.
- Delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer, subject to the satisfactory completion of public consultation and in the absence of substantive opposition, to:
a. Finalise all negotiations relating to the proposed lease of the above‑described land; and
b. Execute all documentation necessary to give effect to the lease. - Note that a further report will only be presented to Council if the public consultation process identifies objections, opposition, or matters of risk that, in the opinion of the Chief Executive Officer, warrant further consideration by Council.
