Written submissions are invited to get your input into the development of the Draft Lincoln Cove Marina and Billy Lights Point Master Plan
The City of Port Lincoln is developing a new Master Plan for the Lincoln Cove Marina and Billy Lights Point precinct, and we want your input to help guide its future.
This important marine and coastal area supports commercial fishing, tourism, recreation, and residential living. It's home to many residents and a place regularly used by locals, industries, and visitors alike.
Council has engaged design consultants Oxigen to revisit and expand on the Port Lincoln Precincts Master Plan - CBD, Foreshore, Marina, and to develop a dedicated plan for the Marina and surrounding areas.
The new Master Plan will help identify current challenges and opportunties and will provide clear guidance and direction for future improvements and development within the precinct.
We want to hear from everyone who lives in, works in, visits, or uses the Marina and nearby areas. Whether you're a resident, business operator, recreational user, or visitor - your ideas, experiences, and feedback will help ensure informed and well-supported decisions about the areas' future development.
Let us know:
- Do you use the Marina, boat ramp and surrounding areas?
- What do you see as key issues within the area?
- What ideas would you like to see integrated?
- What do you need from this area in the future?
A Community 'Drop-in' session will be held on Friday, 11 July 2025, from 12pm to 3pm at the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre, Party Room. Communty members are welcome to attend at any time during the session to speak with the Project Team and contribute their ideas.
Written submissions are also invited from Thursday, 3 July 2025, and will close at 10am on Friday, 25 July 2025.
Following this preliminary engagement, a draft Lincoln Cove Marina and Billy Lights Point Master Plan will be prepared and shared for further public comment later in 2025, before being presented to Council for adoption, planned for early 2026.
