The City of Port Lincoln invites community feedback on its Draft Volunteer Management Plan 2025-2030 from Thursday, 24 July to 12pm on Friday, 15 August 2025.
Volunteers are vital to our community and play an important role in supporting Council services, programs and community life. This Plan aims to guide the future direction and sustainability of volunteering in Port Lincoln by:
- Strengthening Council's volunteer programs
- Identifying priority areas for action
- Responding to challenges and opportunities in the broader volunteer landscape within Council resorcing capacity
The draft Volunteer Management Plan has been informed by data, community input, and best practice strategies at state and national levels. Your feedback will help ensure it reflects local needs and aspirations.
We want to hear from volunteers, community volunteer organisations, stakeholders and residents.
The Draft Volunteer Management Plan 2025-2030 is available to review in the Key Documents section on the right. Hardcopies are also available at the Council Office and Port Lincoln Library.
