Project Overview

The City of Port Lincoln has appointed a regional events specialist to conduct a strategic assessment of Tunarama and prepare a business plan for a new look festival.

This work will explore how the festival might be reimagined and revitalised.

It is evident that there is a desire to see Tunarama continue in some form.

The consultants have engaged with key stakeholders in a series of interviews including a public meeting to get views on a reimagined festival. Now Council is seeking wider community opinions on the festival via a survey.

The topics in this short survey include:

  • What is the purpose of Tunarama?
  • What you think are the ‘must stays’ in the festival
  • What you think could be improved
  • What elements are no longer relevant for a modern festival

The survey will commence on Tuesday, 19th March 2024 and run for three weeks. You can access the survey via the survey button below.

A hardcopy of the survey will also be available at the Council Office and Port Lincoln Library.

The survey is the second task in a series of milestones for this project as per the timeline below.
